ARGYLL police officers attended a health and wellbeing event back in January at the Red Cross Hall in Lochgilphead. This week they returned to share the proceeds from the fundraising.
Officers and civilian staff within Argyll and Bute were invited to the event, which was sponsored by local businesses. There was fundraising during the day with prizes generously donated by Scottish Police Recreation Association and Portavadie Spa and Leisure, with proceeds raised donated to the British Red Cross and Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland to help with the great work they do.
On Tuesday (April 24), PC Michelle Rusden, who organised the wellbeing event, and Inspector Julie McLeish, from Lochgilphead, presented a cheque for £120.10 to Chest Heart and Stroke Scotland, below.
