THE Oban branch of the Scottish Women’s Institute celebrated the organisation’s centenary in style on Sunday.
The women dressed to dazzle and enjoyed afternoon tea and a homemade 100th anniversary cake. They joined other groups across the country in celebrating the milestone, with some hosting garden parties.
Kay MacDonald, a town ambassador and member of the SWI, said: ‘We thought a garden party might be pushing it because of the weather.
