Yes, I agree with the letter regards to roads signage and having Gaelic forced down our throats by its prominence these days. And I am a born and bred indigenous islander.
We speakers of Gaelic know where we are going. Indeed, I could go from Uist to Inverness or Campbeltown without any signs at all, and easily, but for those who cannot speak Gaelic, it only confuses them as to where they are going, so to that end it is simply not the right thing to do.
