CAMPAIGNERS have won a High Court victory over the government’s decision to give the green light to a controversial tunnel and dual carriage near to Stonehenge, which a judge has ruled “unlawful.”
Plans for a tunnel near the historic World Heritage Site go back years. The proposal is part of an investment in the A303 between Amesbury and Berwick Down in Wiltshire.
