The base design is eerily similar to that of 1989. The only thing missing is the border colors.
The backs look pretty familiar too!
2019 Score really rises to the occasion when it comes to photo selection. There are some great action shots but the best are the photos with the players at the beginning of the game, coming out of the tunnel.
I’ve long been a believer that 1989 could have been the greatest year ever. I perched myself up on this hill many years ago and have fought off many combatants but I have never swayed. I’ll eventually die on this hill but it will take quite a blitzkrieg for me to relent. There may be certain years that have come close, but 1989 stands alone in my mind.
