O
NE OF THE TOUGHEST THINGS ABOUT THE “BEST OF”
AWARDS IS THAT OTHER THAN BEST TRUCK, THE WINNERS ARE ULTIMATELY CHOSEN BY THE EDITOR. I can ask as many insiders as I know to give their opinion, I can reach out to the fans on social media to give their votes, and I can ask our crew who they feel they should win. But at the end of the day, it’s up to the one person in the editor seat. With a happy winner generally comes some unhappy runners-up—with supporters of the truck owner having no problem letting us know we made the wrong choice. Picking the Best Of winners is a tough position to be in, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything, and I think we have the best team in the business who would back up these picks any day of the week. What are your thoughts? Did we make the right choices? Let us know by email or PM
