Samsung Galaxy Tab S4

What’s the story?
Samsung’s aim with the Tab S4 is to steal iPad Pro customers by offering the most versatile tablet with Android inside, and at a more palatable price. A plain-looking sheet of Gorilla Glass and aluminium, it has a 10.5in Super AMOLED screen similar to Samsung’s top-end phones, and DeX for a more PC-like experience if you’re replacing a laptop.
Is it any good?
While the revolution will not be tabletised, the S4 is still a solid slate that makes doing real work in Android easier than ever before. A lack of AR support is a shame, and the S-Pen isn’t as good as the Apple Pencil 2; but attach a keyboard, flex your DeX muscles and this becomes a great business tool with immense battery life that undercuts Apple’s prices.
