Wedding Flowers Magazine  |  Nov-Dec 2012
At Wedding Flowers HQ we love the fact that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have a newly created 'Vanda William Catherine' orchid named in their honour. The kimono-style dress Catherine wore to the receiving ceremony in Singapore was designed by bridal favourite Jenny Packham and hand-painted in tiny orchids, taking eight weeks to complete. Of course none of us have that kind of royal budget, but we've still been working hard on your behalf to bring floral motifs into your bridal look with a selection of stunning dresses starting on page 127 and accessories on page 136. We also report on the emerging trends in grooms' buttonholes (page 16), hanging arrangements (page 24) and fragrancing your day (page 70), and have all the latest from the Hampton Court Palace Flower Show on page 26. Finally for advice on picking a florist as well as choosing the right blooms for you take a look at pages 54 onwards. Enjoy!
