This route is in West Sussex near the Surrey border. It’s an amazing place to run – there are trails in all directions. When a headclearing run is needed, all you have to do is head up to Leith Hill to feel on top of the world.
START
Starting at Starveall Car Park follow the path signposted to
Leith Hill Tower.
Part 1
The flat woodland path kicks up as you take a left up the tower path/Greensand Way through trees. Watch out for roots and occasional mountain bikers. Just before Leith Hill Tower go across to the wooden sculpture and take in the views. Look across to the London skyline in one direction and Sussex in the other. Drop down a steep path on the other side of the tower.
