For Lyndsey, exercise is a non-negotiable in her quest for good mental health
How did you get into running?
My friend’s sister was diagnosed with breast cancer, and we all decided to do a Race for Life to raise money. I turned up in a pair of Converse and cargo shorts having never run 5K before. It felt so hard, and I realised how unfit I was. I wanted to be able to run around after my young children and not be out of breath. This and going to the docs with high blood pressure and being told I was pre-diabetic was a huge wake-up call to turn my health around.
