GETTING FASTER
If you have Speedy Gonzales goals for 2021, check out our speed-tailored training programmes. Complement runs with strength work for added oomph
We all want to be a little bit faster, and the good news is that you don’t need to be training for a race to improve your speed. Adding some structured training into your weekly schedule can help boost your pace, however fast or slow you think you are.
There are many reasons why we chase faster times. For some, it’s a way to measure their improvement for the hours spent pounding the pavement. Some are aiming to qualify for races, and some just want the run to be over a bit sooner.
Whatever your motivation for wanting to speed up, the fundamental methods remain the same: run faster and run slower. It’s that simple.
