Countryside magazine covers all that’s best about British rural life: ‘From our beautiful landscapes to the farmers who produce our food,’ said editor Martin Stanhope.
Readers are anyone who loves or is involved with rural living. ‘Our audience is pretty diverse and ranges from aspiring smallholders and dog lovers to retired farmers and rural dwellers.’ Martin is keen to stress that Countryside reflects real life. ‘Perhaps our key purpose is to stress that the British countryside is a living, working environment – not a Constable portrait (as lovely as those are). With that in mind we like to focus on those who live and work in the countryside – the farmers, vets, farriers, small business owners and smallholders that make the place tick.’
