Juggling SCHOOL & HORSES

High school can be a busy time for youth. Whether participating in sports, FFA, 4-H, or another youth organization, extracurricular activities add to both the excitement and stressors of day-to-day life. However, if it’s something you enjoy doing, you can often look past the hard parts and focus on the positives.

Lewisville High School’s agriculture program in Lewisville, Texas, is offering students who are passionate about horses an exciting opportunity to work with Mustangs as a part of an FFA Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE). Some of these students, like Trevor Moreno and Maddie Trussell, work with Mustangs as their SAE projects, as well as participating in other school-related activities. Here, they share a few tips to make it all work.
