German MRO giant Lufthansa Technik has signed a total component support (TCS) contract with Vietjet. The comprehensive multi-year agreement, starting in October, covers 184 Airbus A320 Family and nine Airbus A330 aircraft, catering for the low-cost carrier’s future fleet growth and ensuring that “Vietjet’s fleet continues to operate with the highest levels of efficiency and safety, reinforcing Vietjet’s position as a leading airline in the region.”

Vietjet had previously been the German MRO’s first AVIATAR Technical Logbook Customer in Asia Pacific, “underscoring the innovative collaboration between the two companies.” However, the new agreement represents the largest TCS deal Lufthansa Technik has secured in the region.
