Nature's Entertainment

When it comes to hosting this fall, let the outdoors at the homestead be your guide. BY JILLIAN CHAPMAN
Author Lana Stenner and her husband CJ spent many years working on their fixer-upper homestead. They took a huge leap of faith when they transitioned from city life to their four acres of land, and Stenner is quick to admit how difficult homesteading can be. Yet the joy and fulfillment Stenner has experienced as she witnesses the changes in her family and their lives as they live immersed in the outdoors is something she will forever be grateful for.
PHOTOGRAPHY BY LANA STENNER

Besides using pumpkins, how can you make your fall entertaining cozy and festive? Homesteader Lana Stenner’s new book, The Grace-Filled Homestead, breaks down all that goes into the difficult yet rewarding lifestyle of homesteading. Stenner describes the ins and outs of animal care and gardening as well as the grace that fills and fuels her home inside and out. You can also use her insights to create your own homesteadinspired, fall gathering.
