This dust-jacketed first edition of Evelyn Waugh’s (1903-66) Brideshead Revisited will be included in The Library Sale at Cheffins of Cambridge on July 4. The edition was published by Chapman and Hall in 1945.
The famous novel, set in the 1920s to the early 1940s, follows the life and romances of the protagonist Charles Ryder, including his friendship with the Flytes, a family of wealthy English Catholics who live at Brideshead Castle.
