Politicians pledge support for Mary

LOCAL politicians have joined the Inveraray community in supporting Mary Mac Lean and her family as they try to find a home suitable for her needs.

Mrs MacLean suffered a brain injury in December 2014 and spent a year recovering in hospital. The 50-year-old is paralysed as a result and her family home is now unsuitable for her needs.

As revealed in the June 3 edition of the Argyllshire Adver tiser, Mary’s family has been working tirelessly on her behalf to get a suitable home. The family believed a home was being built for Mary near her current one in Inveraray but when the house, owned by Argyll Communi ty Housing Association (ACHA), was allocated to someone else, the family was heartbroken to find they would not be getting it.
