Primary pupils’practice pays off

YOUNG voices echoed around Ardrishaig Hall on Monday as Mid Argyll primary pupils took to the stage in the verse speaking competitions.

The room was full of nervous young speakers waiting patiently for their turn in the spotlight, whilst an equally anxious audience of parents and teachers watched closely.


The packed programme of events was observed impeccably by the audience and was expertly led by adjudicator Margaret Tomlinson as primary schools from all across Mid Argyll were well represented.
