Niall McMaster made it eight in a row at the rearranged Doanld and James Mackenzie mixed doubles darts competition. Helping him win the trophy this year was his darts partner Maggie Easdale. Niall also had the highest check-out of 154 to lift the James’s Cup.
The 30th anniversary event, held annually in Kilmory, finally went ahead on April 14, after bad weather caused the postponement of the original date. Runners-up on the night were John Mackenzie and Vicki Milne.
Organiser Margaret Mackenzie thanked everyone who took part and all the businesses and individuals who donated prizes to the raffle. A total of £510 was split evenly between Kilmory hall, the Kilmory community bus and the Arran services of Action for Hearing Loss.
