TIM DUNN

Words Thomas Stichbury

It is full steam ahead for train enthusiast – and hot geek – Tim Dunn. Starting 2021 on the right track, Tim, 39, hosts Yesterday’s The Architecture the Railways Built, “a delightful journey into the stories of remarkable buildings all around us”. The TV presenter has his vices, though: “Hoarding model trains… this is not the hedonistic life I thought I’d be having before the age of 40!” Based in London with his boyfriend, an architectural historian, Tim’s message is clear: embrace your inner nerd and don’t be derailed by what other people think.

MY MOTTO IN LIFE IS: BE AN ENTHUSIAST. YOU’LL PROBABLY GET MORE OUT OF LIFE IF YOU APPROACH THINGS KEENLY.
