Tandy and Laurens Vanthoor sealed victory at the Daytona 24 Hours, the same trio pulled a famous double by scooping the 73rd Sebring 12 Hours. As Tandy put it: “Winning the 36 Hours of Florida in Daytona and Sebring is hard to believe.”
Porsche found itself deep in the shadow of old rival Ferrari in the World Endurance Championship opener in Qatar earlier this month, but its form in the IMSA Sportscar Championship has left it with a commanding lead over BMW, Cadillac and Acura.
