Polestar’s Lohscheller: turnaround plan is already bearing fruit
WITH PRODUCTION SITES in China, the US and Korea all exporting between each other and a brand still trying to establish itself with consumers and investors, Polestar would appear to be exposed to tariffs, trade wars and market instability.
But life has gone on for Polestar and CEO Michael Lohscheller, who in the week of the US tariff rollout found time for three runs around Hyde Park. “You can’t just complain” about tariffs, he said. Yes, “it would be better to have more planning security”, but Polestar still has to do business and “get on with things”.
