Aviation Archive Magazine  |  Issue 69
Battle of Britain is No 69 in the Aviation Archive series. The Battle of Britain continues to be a source of pride for the Royal Air Force (RAF) over 80 years after it was fought. It is the most recognised single campaign undertaken by the air arm. Over the years since the end of World War Two, the service has continued to honour the memory of those who fought and died fighting the Luftwaffe in the summer of 1940.
