BIGGEST PIKE
It's been an incredible week for big pike, with still waters, rivers and canals producing their biggest fish of the winter so far. The incredible Chew Valley
Reservoir has broken records, producing 30 pike over 30lb in just a week’s fishing. Top fish weighed 41lb 4oz and was caught by Gloucestershire rod Nick Rice on a herring hookbait. In a week that produced the most big fish ever in this time period, the Somerset venue delivered a new personal best for experienced predator hunter Kevin Shore from Chester when he boated a 39lb 12oz giant that took a floatfished bait in 24ft of water.
