THE CHURCHES of West Lochfyneside at Inveraray and Lochgair held their harvest thanksgiving services on Sunday October 1.
Afterwards the congregations were able to send goods to food banks at Oban and Dumbarton; members of the communities were asked to donate something to add t006F the goods for the food banks. Inveraray Co-op store also gave support with a donations trolley in the store. The Inveraray and Lochgair congregation held its harvest meal together on Wednesday October 4 in the church hall when members enjoyed some lovely home-made food. At the end of the meal communion was celebrated by sharing the harvest bread and wine.
On Friday October 6 it was the start of the monthly lunch club in the Inveraray church hall.
