POLICE are hunting vandals who entered the grounds of Furnace Primary School last week and left a trail of damage behind them.
Sergeant Iain Mac-Nicol of Lochgilphead police office said: ‘Between 6pm on Tuesday October 11 and 7.40am on Wednesday October 12, a wooden bench and a wooden totem pole were damaged in the Furnace Primary School grounds.’ He added: ‘At around the same time a wooden fence at a house in Goatfield View, Furnace was also damaged.’
Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with any information to contact them on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
