The Waverley - still going strong after seven decades

THE MAJESTIC paddle steamer Waverley is embarking on her summer tours around the coast of Argyll.

She sails from Tarbert every Wednesday from June 22 until August 24, giving passengers a chance to view the magnificent scenery of Scotland’s longest sea loch, Loch Fyne, as they sail towards Kilfinan Bay.

Sailing from Campbeltown for two days only on July 3, passengers can visit Ireland and spend time ashore in Redbay or perhaps stay on board and cruise the Antrim Coast-Then, on August 14, cruise to the Sanda isles and onward towards the Mull of Kintyre. 2016 is a special year for the Waverley as it marks 70 years since her launch in 1946.
