Football players put through their paces

Providing footballers with a possible taste of the training opportunities available to them, potential players in the Isle of Arran Amateur Football Club (AAFC) recently received an evening of advanced training from SFA development coach Craig Hamilton.

The event was organised by Alan Murray, the driving force behind the new club, who are currently in a bid to join the Ayrshire Sunday League Amateur Football Association.

A total of 22 potential players for the Arran team, and those interested in furthering their football skills, joined Craig Hamilton at the Lamlash fields where the training took place owing to the Ormidale Sports Pavilion being occupied by the circus.
