The author of the best-selling book Dementia – the One Stop Guide will be visiting Arran next week to give a talk to those affected by dementia.
Professor June Andrews, who is also an adviser to the Dementia Services Development Trust (DSDT) – a Scottish charity that works throughout the world to improve the lives of people with dementia – will give a presentation based on her book at St Molios Church in Shiskine on Tuesday February 19 at 2pm.
The talk will cover, along with other useful information, what dementia is, how to delay it and what to do if you or someone in your family is affected.
