TWENTY YEARS AGO
The Gang Show
No fewer than 15 groups of Guides, Scouts, Brownies, Rainbows and Beavers took part in The Gang Show in Lam-lash Hall last Friday. The hall was packed with everybody just waiting to be entertained and to see their child performing on a very hot evening. For the most part each group did its own piece, some being taken from their performances at the music festival, many specially prepared for The Gang Show. Two notable items were the scouts singing The Circus of Barnum and bringing in the audience to sing along lustily with Pick a Bale of Cotton, led by Graham Tinto.
