Once a month a small gathering of Women in Black hold a silent vigil at the Arran Coastal Way marker in Brodick.
A recent silent protest by the Women in Black.
Part of the worldwide network of women committed to peace with justice in our world, they meet in silence to remember all the forgotten victims of war – civilians and soldiers killed in war situations not of their making. They meet to demonstrate against war and hate, to state that violence breeds violence and that peace with justice for everyone is the way.
