DEFENDING CHAMP KIPSIRO HAPPY WITH SECOND PLACE

Moses Kipsiro: happy just to be running unburdened
HE MIGHT not have landed the victory he was looking for at the Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run but Moses Kipsiro admits he is just happy to feel ‘free’.
The Ugandan, who beat Callum Hawkins in the same event last year, had the tables turned on him this time round as the Scot eventually pulled away to finish first.
Just being able to race unburdened is a delight for Kipsiro, however. In August of last year, the 10,000m Commonwealth champion received death threats after reporting allegations that a coach in his native country had been sexually abusing young female runners.
