Successors to today’s luxury EQ models won’t get an all-new platform
MERCEDES-BENZ IS SET to dramatically reduce its investment in electric vehicle platform development and has reportedly axed plans for a new architecture for luxury cars.
The new MB.EA Large platform, planned to be launched in 2028, was earmarked to underpin the successors to today’s EQE and EQS saloons and SUVs.
