New Big Carp website now online We are pleased to announce the launch of our new interactive website. The old one, designed in the year 2000 by Richard Stangroom of Advanced Web Designs (AWD) looked amazing when we first opened it, but technology moves so fast and it was soon out of date, and, I’ve got to admit, ‘a bit boring’. Now Richard and his team have pulled out all the stops to bring you the latest ‘state of the art’ version and we really owe them a massive thank-you. I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you about some of its special features, many of which are available to use now and some others that are being built as we speak. So get to www.bigcarmag azine.co.uk and I will talk you through the options. LATEST ISSUE – If you click on the latest issue it will tell you what’s coming in next month’s magazine. A picture of the front cover and a full list of articles and special features. ARCHIVES – This one’s a cracker. We have a special search facility built into the programme, so if it’s Lee Jackson you want to read about, key in ‘Lee Jackson’ and it will tell you all the issues Lee has written in and what his article was about. You will have the option to buy that back issue or even read it online by hitting the ‘i-mag’ button on the home page. Here you will find past Big Carp magazines to read online. So if you missed an issue, or have been living on Pluto and never read Big Carp, here’s your chance for free! The archive section and i-mag section are being updated all the time. As I write this, you will find the last two years’ issues archived and a year’s worth of Big Carp to read, but as we add more to these sections, eventually we will have a massive amount of information both in article form and advertisements.
