Young Kintyre residents motivated by television programme Blue Planet II are being encouraged to take part in a reporting project organised by Keep Scotland Beautiful.
The initiative is open to anyone aged eight to 26 who wants to give their environment a voice using photography, film and writing.
Anne-Marie Robb, education and learning coordinator at Keep Scotland Beautiful, said: ‘With hundreds of young Scots motivated by Blue Planet II, I would encourage them to take part in Young Reporters Scotland and learn some of the skills they need to become the next David Attenborough. The initiative provides students, schools, and individuals with the opportunity to learn new skills, take a stand on environmental issues that they care about and make a positive change in their community.’
