SALMON farmed off Gigha may travel by wellboat to the firm‘s just opened Cairndow processing plant.
Last Friday, the Scottish Salmon Company (SSC) welcomed Argyll and Bute‘s MP, Brendan O‘Hara, to the newly-developed processing and filleting facility, situated near the mouth of Loch Fyne.
Mr O‘Hara joined Craig Anderson, the SSC chief executive, to tour the salmon processing facility and meet the team responsible for helping to bring the fish from farm to plate.
