CALMAC’S timetable disruption is hitting Campbeltown’s tourist trade with one hotel suffering 16 cancellations from guests due to stay one week, a councillor has warned.
Councillor Donald Kelly was among Argyll and Bute councillors who rounded on CalMac at last Thursday’s full council meeting, with hoteliers across the region reporting many cancellations during this busy festival period.
The repaired MV Clansman ferry should be back this week but timetable disruption looks likely to continue until May 23.
