THE TOP volunteer in Scottish youth football last year, scored another success at Campbeltown’s football festival.
David Paterson, the main man behind last Saturday’s event, saw more than 450 young players, aged from five upwards, pack 16 pitches on the Meadows playing fields.
Teams came from across the west of Scotland, for the festival aimed a primary age players. These included Ardencaple, Lochnell, Helensburgh, Giffnock, Port Ellen, Arran, Calder glen, Dumbarton, Tarbert and Lochgilphead.
