Laura and I knew each other in high school. We shared art class together, a fact which Laura doesn’t even remember. So it wasn’t love at first sight for us!
We got together as a couple five years later through a mutual friend. I came round for coffee one day and never left! Laura was already eight months pregnant with our first child at the time. Her original plan was to co-parent with a friend, but unfortunately for various reasons this was not to be. The first time I clapped eyes on our son, I was so in love with him, and seeing the woman I loved holding this tiny baby just melted my heart.
