As soon as Minke joins our transatlantic Zoom call, I’m impressed by how grounded she appears. It’s moving day for her and there are boxes everywhere. Not only is she still making time for this conversation, she’s doing it all with a laidback smile on her face. I’ve never met someone who manages to remain so zen-like in such a scenario.
Minke, known to those in her personal life as Leah Mason, is an indie-pop singer-songwriter. Born in the UK, she’s now made a home for herself across the pond in the US. Her debut album, The Tearoom, was released in 2019 and struck a chord with listeners. Minke is beloved for her reflective lyrics and dreamy vocals.
