The Two Doctors

Delivered with robust energy by Colin Baker, the first 60 seconds of The Two Doctors provides a description of space station J7 that gives pause for thought. As it spins on its axis, the station “resembled a cheap knuckle duster that had been used by Godzilla.” This potently over-written description either points to a discomfort on Holmes’ part with prose writing, or he was sat at his typewriter, pipe clamped between his teeth, cackling away to himself. It’s certainly bold, and sets the tempo.
