Jodie Whittaker strode the red carpet at Picturehouse Central on 12 October for the BFI London Film Festival world premiere of Journeyman, in which she plays Emma (the film is released on 16 February), and attended ActionAid Survivors’ Runway fashion show at the Truman Brewery on 10 October. Peter Capaldi was at the BAFTA Cymru Awards at St David’s Hall, Cardiff on 8 October.


Bradley Walsh, whose second album When You’re Smiling was released on 10 November, is Mr Smee in Peter Pan: Christmas in Neverland, the ‘World’s Biggest Panto’ (trailer at tinyurl.com/BradleyPan). The show plays at Birmingham’s Barclaycard Arena (20-24 December) and Wembley’s SSE Arena (29-30 December). Mandip Gill plays Reema in asylum-seeker film The Flood, due in 2018.
