The Fam are attempting (like Amy, Rory, Clara and Bill before them) to strike a TARDIS/ life balance, continuing their space-time adventures while still keeping a foothold on 21st-century Earth, when they’re grabbed by MI6 and . ung into a plot involving international spies, a tech whizz who’s made a dodgy deal with extradimensional beings – and the Doctor’s old frenemy, the Master. The latter has rediscovered his enthusiasm for his tissue compression eliminator, but doesn’t need to use his hypnotic powers – he’s found a better way of messing with the Doctor’s head.
