STAR LETTER

JOHN COOK, EAST LONDON How wonderful it is to have the classic series on iPlayer with audio description, subtitles and signing. As a visually impaired fan of nearly 40 years, I’m now able to experience stories that I’ve watched dozens of times in a completely new way. All the little nuances and actions that I’ve missed are now described for me. It’s truly a beautiful thing for sensory impaired fans. For the first time it feels like my show is for me rather than it being something I have to adapt to and get by with.

“The impish face of the wavy-haired Doctor gradually emerges.” Audio descriptions are available on all the episodes streaming on iPlayer.

All hail the Whoniverse! Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to make this happen.
