THE QUEEN
JOINED BY LITERARY AND ACTING STARS
CELEBRATES A HAPPY ENDING TO HER FIRST READING ROOM FESTIVAL
The Queen makes a chic arrival in a wide-legged Anna Valentine jumpsuit, which she previously wore for the Coronation Concert in May
With her passion for sharing her love of reading, the Queen was delighted to attend her charity’s first ever literary festival last week.
Joined by Vicki Perrin, chief executive of The Queen’s Reading Room, Her Majesty was welcomed to Hampton Court Palace by a star-studded line up of talent, led by Dames Judi Dench and Joanna Lumley and writer and presenter Gyles Brandreth.
Elegant in a royal-blue jumpsuit by Anna Valentine, Camilla greeted the two actresses with a kiss on both cheeks, before taking her seat in the courtyard to watch Dame Judi discuss her love of Shakespeare on stage with Gyles and an audience of some 2,900 people.
