The Mayfair haunt adored by royals, Hollywood stars and music legends is being reinvented as an exclusive new club

Few people witnessed the blossoming of Prince William’s romance with Kate Middleton – but the owners of Noughties “It” nightclub Boujis had a bird’s-eye view of the royal couple’s first official date.
“They say it was their first public outing,” says Carlo Carello, who ran the London nightspot with co-owner Jake Parkinson-Smith.
“We were all there,” adds Jake, as he recalls the special evening when William and Kate – who celebrate their 14th wedding anniversary next week – enjoyed the Mayfair venue’s popular Crack Baby cocktail.
