Tucana Linux 3.1
Nate Drake is left scratching his head over this latest distribution for building your own OS (almost) from scratch.
IN BRIEF
The ideal of building your own custom distro from scratch is noble. However, Tucana just feels half finished, with a buggy, slow installer and a package manager missing key features.

The GitHub project page for Tucana describes it as “an ultra customisable distro built entirely from scratch”. The OS follows a semi-stable partially rolling release model. In practice, this seems to be that new releases are made every January and July.
