Quick-fire questions
Why won’t my Mac wake up over the network?
> Tick the box to Wake for network access in System Pref’s Energy Saver pane. On an Intel Mac, if that doesn’t work try resetting the SMC according to bit.ly/mac383smcreset, then check again. You can’t reset the SMC on an Apple silicon Mac, though.
How to set my Mac to sync with an NTP server?
> Network Time Protocol (NTP) servers deliver your Mac accurate time to set its clock. This should normally be set to the default in the Date & Time tab of the Date & Time pane, by ticking the checkbox to set it automatically. If you have a better alternative, paste the location of that NTP server in the box.
With Private Relay active, DNS leak tests should only find IP addresses for the second servers in the relay.
