How COVID-19 shaped my student experience and career journey so far

In 2017 I decided to leave my career in finance and go back to university as a mature student to study mental health nursing, making me part of the March 2018 cohort.

From the moment I made this decision, I had a passion to work with children and young people. Throughout my nurse training I sought out a lot of ‘spoke’ placements from my ‘hub’ placements to get the most out of my training.
