We’ve a truly international flavour to this month’s issue, with a US Mack built in Russia. It’s a Cruiseliner from the movie Convoy, with working steering and suspension. This model is so detailed it needs several articles to do it justice. There’s another Mack too – an unusual U-series with offset cab, built in Britain this time! Our Northern Hauliers series continues with a Volvo F10 from the Crawford fleet. We’ve a behind the scenes look at the movie Hell Drivers, to accompany a 1:24 scale model of the Parrot-nosed Dodges used in the filming. Diecast fans are catered for with a heavy haulage MAN and a new escort vehicle. There’s a major feature on how to make accurate tractor to trailer airlines and an explanation as to how they work. Scanias feature heavily this month, with a highly detailed tipper and drawbar trailer, a 3-series recovery truck, a German Blue Shark with working lights, and a special themed Readers’ Gallery devoted to the classic 141.
